Yes, a Ladies’ Night

Social hour 6pm, dinner is served at 7, program begins in Chase Hall at 8pm.

Atlas Obscura is the definitive guide to the world’s wondrous and curious places.
We are a digital platform, a producer and publisher, and a real-world community.

The Atlas Obscura Society is our exploration arm.
With chapters in eight U.S. cities, we curate extraordinary experiences that reveal secret histories,
exceptional people, unusual access, and opportunities to explore overlooked places and ideas hidden all around us.
We believe there is something new to discover, every day, all over the world—and around the corner.

Erin Johnson is the head of the Atlas Obscura Society.
She leads a team of extraordinary field agents who design tours and workshops to share the hidden
wonders of Los Angeles.

Specializing in LA’s natural phenomena, she develops programs on topics such as entomology,
ornithology, astronomy, geology, and taxidermy.
She also works as a scientific illustrator and is a passionate amateur taxidermist.

During this presentation, Erin will share more about the strange, surprising,
and profoundly incredible places in L.A., and across the world, that evoke a sense of wonder.

An arresting cabinet of curiosities that inspires wonderlust as much as wanderlust,
Atlas Obscura proves that the world is vast and there are marvelous treasures behind every corner
—if you just know where to look.
